Progress: Giving Impact

Since 2005, SouthPoint Church has been a place for people to find connection. Our mission has always been clear: to connect the disconnected to Christ, Community, and a Cause. We started with a simple vision to reach people far from God and introduce them to the hope found in a relationship with Jesus. Today, that mission is more alive than ever.

From families exploring faith for the first time to children growing strong in their spiritual walk, we have consistently opened our doors to those seeking a fresh start. We are a community where you can belong, grow, and make a real difference. Now, we feel a clear calling to expand our reach—not just by adding more seats, but by creating more space for life-changing encounters with God.

A Legacy of Connection and Growth

Our story is one of faithfulness, growth, and transformation. It’s a story written by every person who has walked through our doors, from long-time members to first-time visitors. The Bible verse from Joel 1:3, "Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation," is a guiding principle for us. We are passionate about creating a legacy of faith that passes from one generation to the next.

This commitment is reflected in the vibrant life of our church. Over the past year, we have been blessed to see incredible growth and engagement. These numbers represent real people, real families, and real stories of change.

A Growing Family

Community is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to be a place where everyone feels welcome, seen, and valued. The growth we've experienced is a testament to a welcoming environment where people can build authentic relationships.

  • 1,968 Average Sunday Attendance: Each week, nearly 2,000 people gather to worship, learn, and encourage one another. This number isn't just a statistic; it represents a thriving community of believers committed to growing together.
  • 1,211 Visitors in the Past Year: We are honored that over a thousand people chose to visit SouthPoint in the last year. We understand that stepping into a new church can be intimidating, and we work hard to make every guest feel at home from the moment they arrive.

This growth shows that people are looking for a place to connect not only with God but with each other. We are more than just a Sunday service; we are a family.

A Place for Life-Changing Faith

Our primary goal is to introduce people to the life-altering love of Christ. We believe that a relationship with Jesus brings purpose, hope, and true freedom. Witnessing individuals make the decision to follow Christ is the greatest joy and a powerful reminder of why our mission matters.

  • 200+ Baptisms in the Past Year: Baptism is a public declaration of a personal decision to follow Jesus. This past year, we celebrated with over 200 individuals as they took this significant step in their faith journey. Each baptism represents a story of redemption and a new beginning.

These celebrations are powerful moments for our entire church family. They are visible symbols of God's work in the lives of people from all walks of life. We believe these stories of transformation are the most important fruit of our ministry.

Investing in the Next Generation

A core part of our mission is to create a strong spiritual foundation for the next generation. We are passionate about partnering with parents to raise children who love God and love others. Our kids' ministry is designed to be a safe, fun, and engaging place where children can learn about Jesus in a way that is relevant to them.

  • 439 Kids' Sunday Attendance: Every week, our halls are filled with the energy and excitement of over 400 children. This isn't just childcare; it's an intentional ministry aimed at nurturing the faith of our youngest members. Through age-appropriate lessons, worship, and activities, we help them build a relationship with God that will last a lifetime.

By investing in our children, we are living out the charge in Joel 1:3, ensuring that the message of hope in Christ is passed down through the generations. We believe that a church that is alive and growing is one that prioritizes its children and youth.

Our Mission Continues: Making More Room

The numbers tell a story of what God has done, but we believe He is calling us to do even more. Our community is growing, and with that growth comes the need for more space—space for worship, for community, and for ministry. We are embarking on a journey to make more room, not just for people, but for the life change that happens when they encounter God.

This is more than a building project; it's an expansion of our mission. It’s about creating more opportunities for people to find belonging, for families to grow in faith together, and for the message of Jesus to reach more hearts in our community.

We invite you to be a part of this continuing story.
